Authority: General Authority for Defense Development
Platform: HHC platform
Applicant: The user who submits the request(s) through the platform
Requests: Everything that the applicant submits via the platform, whether it is an idea, invention, research, project, or anything else.
Personal Data Protection Law: The law governing the protection of personal data.
Personal Information: Any information, regardless of its source or format, that can specifically or indirectly identify an individual. This includes, but is not limited to: Names, personal identification numbers, addresses, contact numbers, and license numbers; personal records and property; bank account and credit card numbers; images of the individual; and any other information that is personal in nature.
Processing: Any process or set of processes performed on personal data, either manually or through automated means. This includes: Processes of collection, recording, preservation, indexing, arrangement, coordination, storage, modification, updating, merging, retrieval, use, disclosure, transmission, publication, data sharing or interconnection, blocking, erasure, and destruction.
Cookies: Data files that uniquely identify a user to enhance their experience and understanding of the Platform.
Platform Description
This platform represents one of the aspects of motivation that the Authority aims to provide to researchers and innovators who contribute to the development of defense technologies and systems, whether they are individuals, government agencies, or the private sector. Through the platform, the Authority seeks to evaluate applications and support and adopt appropriate ones.
Cooperation Mechanism
A mechanism for cooperation and compensation for the applicant’s intellectual property rights shall be agreed upon with the applicant in accordance with the intellectual property laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Intellectual Property Acknowledgment
The applicant acknowledges that what he/she submits through the platform does not constitute a violation of any intellectual property rights of others.
Legal Basis of Processing
Personal data is processed based on user consent.
Use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Statement and its terms.
Rights of the Data Subject
Right to know about the legal basis and purpose of personal data collection.
Right to access personal data held by the controller, in accordance with the controls and procedures established by the regulations, without prejudice to Article 9 of the Law.
The right to request access to personal data held by the controller, ensuring it is provided in a readable and clear format, in accordance with the regulations.
The right to request correction, completion, or update of personal data held by the controller.
The right to request deletion of personal data held by the controller when deemed necessary, in accordance with, and without prejudice to Article 18 of the Law.

Types of Collected Data include: Personal, transaction, and entity data. Transaction data refers to information that details any event occurring during interactions with The General Authority for Defense Development (GADD).
Different types of personal data are collected, including: Full name, nationality, region, city, gender, ID number, mobile number submitted application (project), details of the application, and submission period.
Upon submitting any form, or providing information through a browser, or communicating with us via phone, email, or social media, your data will be stored on the GADD servers. This includes all data provided through the HHC platform or any affiliated official websites, which will be collected, stored, and utilized accordingly.

Completing the data required to apply for services, programs, and initiatives provided by the Authority through its official website and affiliated sites.
Conducting surveys, interviews, and gathering opinions.

Promotion of investment opportunities, services, programs, and initiatives that support the Authority.
Resolving and addressing inquiries or complaints to improve the end-user experience.

The collection of personal data is restricted to the minimum necessary to fulfill the objectives outlined in this privacy statement.

We will not share your personal data with non-government entities unless authorized by the competent authorities to perform specific government services. By submitting your data to the platform, you fully agree to the storage, processing and use of that data by the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD). We reserve the right to disclose any information to the competent or relevant authorities when necessary to comply with any law or regulation.
